Croke Park in Dublin is so much more than an impressive sports stadium. “Croker”, as it is locally known, is in many ways is a bastion of Irish identity that protects the spirit of Gaelic games from forces seeking to dislodge it. If this all sounds a bit dramatic you should take the fantastic Croke Park Experience tour to get a very real sense of just how important and deeply ingrained the GAA and Gaelic games are to Ireland’s sense of itself.
Phoenix Park is so important to Dublin that it has its own law on the statute books and visitors should be aware that one provision of this is that “no person shall act contrary to public morality in the Park”. So watch your Ps and Qs!
Once you’ve attended a concert at Dublin’s superb O2, there’s no going back to theatre-style venues where the seating is arranged in regular rows. The audience and artist friendly design of the O2 amphitheatre is often likened to that of Rome’s Coliseum, with blocks of seats emanating out like a great fan from the impressive stage.

"Awesome stay here ..very convenient shuttle to airport on the half hour …the breakfast honestly one of the best I’ve had across any hotel ….very great selection and quality of food …they don’t do a half ass job on it ….
They were not able to put a rollaway bed in the room I had booked but Irene was able to find another room for us and even came up to help from reception to move our luggage! No one does that from reception ….
Rooms were very clean along with washroom…shower pressure was not good that is my only complaint …our shower stall
Was clogging up but I did not bother reporting it given the short stay we had …
Lovely breakfast room staff that were genuinely friendly and happy ….

"I saw a review that said the rooms are tiny. They didn’t lie! That’s all we needed, a place to shower and sleep. One suggestion though, put some hooks on the wall to hang clothing, coats or towels. Three hangers in the nook weren’t enough for 2 people. "
"The location is great, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was really. There were a couple minor issues with housekeeping. We had to ask for sheets a couple times for the pullout bed and we had to go to them for toilet paper a couple times instead of it just being replaced. All in all it was a very positive experience and we would stay there again"
"Very close to points of interest and both shops and restaurants. The rooms are smaller then most American rooms but the staff and breakfast is top notch "
