"Villa Monica is what I imagined a true Italian Villa to be, It had stunning views from each room and the living area. The room itself was very comfortable and had lots of little extras like tea & coffee, robes and slippers and shower gel etc. Downstairs is a common area, where you can relax, watch tv have a glass of complimentary wine and enjoy the view! "Hotel staff is excellent!!! Very knowledgeable about the area and they have a ton of information to share. Everything from ferry times, transportation, parking in other areas, etc. Simply ask and they will guide you! There’s a shuttle service provided by hotel to take you into the city and it’s really convenient for dining and excursion options. View from hotel is gorgeous. Rooms are a little outdated and run down, but clean. We were able to overlook that (especially grout in bathroom, etc)...
