Villa Monica is what I imagined a true Italian Villa to be, It had stunning views from each room and the living area. The room itself was very comfortable and had lots of little extras like tea & coffee, robes and slippers and shower gel etc. Downstairs is a common area, where you can relax, watch tv have a glass of complimentary wine and enjoy the view! There was a charging point which was a nice touch for all sorts of different phones, very thoughtful. Pascal who must be the best host I have met runs a free shuttle into and back from town, and will always go the extra mile to make your stay a great one, giving lots of very good advice on places to eat and thing to do and avoid!

Villa Monica is a charming B & B in Sorrento with fabulous facilities and fabulous hosts. The view is spectacular and an absolute joy to wake up to in the morning, you could never tire of it. Pascal and Monica are such lovely people and very welcoming, Pascal is very informative and gives great advice about dining and days out. The rooms are very pretty and have great facilities, air conditioning, safe, kettle, tea and coffee, hairdryer, towels and toiletries and a free shuttle service into Sorrento and back again. Would highly recommend.

Stay was perfect. Pascal and Monica are outstanding. Pascal and Monica go above and beyond as hosts. View is wonderful. Breakfast is wonderful. More like staying with close friends.

Best place in our cross Italy adventure! This B&B is just wonderful. We enjoyed the view from our balcony and breakfast area. A little hot tub and badminton area was fun for our daughter. The regular shuttle service to and from Sorrento centre (5 minutes) by the owners was handy. Lastly.... the host and hostess had great recommendations and we truly enjoyed talking with them. They make this place truly special. We are recommending Villa Monica to our extended family for a trip next year. We will be back too! Save your money from staying downtown Sorrento. This is the place. I left only 2 hours ago, and I already miss it.

Excellent place to stay

This place was outstanding! Beautiful and away from the crowds and congestion. Lovely, serene and the most gracious hosts. They will give you tips and recommendations and absolute no no's of this area which was greatly appreciated and saved us a lot of money! All recommendations were spot on! Lovely home with a nice morning breakfast. Beautiful views from every room. They were so kind to pick us up at the ferry when we arrived and provide transportation back into town several times a day and and will pick up several times a day and take us back to Villa Monica. Look no further....this is your place! AND extremely affordable is the cherry on top!

Sorrento é linda!!!

Estadia maravilhosa, em um local muito agradável. O acesso íngreme é plenamente recompensado pelo local excelente, a vista maravilhosa e o serviço muito bom (prestado pelos proprietários pessoalmente). Várias surpresas agradáveis: café da manhã acima da media, translado para a cidade, etc..

If you are looking for a wonderful B&B this is your place. The staff is so helpful and accommodating, they gave suggestions to us baised on our interests and likes. The rooms are spacious with private attached bathrooms and view you won’t want to miss. Breakfast is available daily with great views on the balcony. We would stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.

We had an amazing stay with Pascal and Monica. They did everything possible to make our vacation pleasant. Pascal was not only informative but entertaining and Monica greeted us every morning with a smile and the most delicious cappuccino. We hope to return again someday and we will be recommending Villa Monica. Thank you from the awesome Americans.

Beautiful views and very friendly hosts

We've just had a delightful 3-night stay at Villa Monica just outside of Sorrento. Pascal and Monica made us feel very welcome from the moment they picked us up from the harbour and they did everything to make sure we enjoyed our stay throughout. They helped us plan our excursions to Pompeii and Vesuvius, and gave us great advice for eating out in Sorrento. Pascal also explained where we could go for an early morning run to the nearby village of Sant'Agata. The rooms have spectacular views across Sorrento around to Napoli, with Vesuvius providing an impressive background. Everything is spotlessly clean and Monica made sure we had all we needed for breakfast. Pascal even shared a bottle of his finest wine with us and some other guests after one pickup, which finished the evening off nicely !!

Gorgeous view. Amazing staff. Shuttle service to the heart of Sorrento all day. Pascal picked us up from the train station. Good breakfast. Overall a great place run by great people. Will definitely be back!

The absolute BEST way to start our vacation!

We stayed for 3 days at Villa Monica. Pascal checked with me on the day on arrival to be sure we knew where we were going. When we arrived we were taken to the Napoli room.... what a VIEW!! After settling in Pascal kindly took us to town so we could get something to eat. The villa was very nice. Our bathroom was tiny and the shower is very small, so if you are a bigger person, it might be hard to comfortably use the shower. It was not a problem for us. Breakfast each morning was perfect! Fresh eggs from Pascal and Monica's chickens, cereals, yogurt, melons, juices, croissants and some sort of tart. A variety of juices, and coffee and tea. I honestly think my favorite part was riding too and from town with Pascal! He is HILARIOUS. He loves to talk, laugh and joke around. Honestly the location of the villa and the owners of it are 100% the reason why it is 5 stars. I honestly think Sorrento was the best part of Italy and a perfect way to start the trip. If you have time, try to get over to Positano, Amalfi and Capri (in that order) feel free to send me a message with any questions regarding Villa Monica or this area. I can't say enough good things. Pascal made us feel like family-

Lovely friendly B&B

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Pascale and Monica cannot do enough to make you feel welcome! The shuttle to the centre was great and it was nice to meet the other guests on the occasions that they were also traveling to and from town. Sorrento is a great base for sightseeing, and Pascale is a great source of knowledge and helps you make the most of your trip.

Tolles kleines Hotel mit super Ausblick

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt - tolles Lage abseits des Trubels (etwas schwer zu finden), sehr ruhig, ein fantastischer Ausblick und absolut tolle Gastgeber. Pascal bietet einen Shuttle-Service nach Sorrent an und steht jederzeit mit tollen Tipps für die Tagesplanung und Restaurants zur Verfügung. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Kurzurlaub.

Great hosts great view

A great place to stay especially if you dont have a car, for if you do it's a bit daunting to drive. Pascal runs a free shuttle service to and from Sorrento and its an easy train ride to Pompeii. Enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms are a little cramped but ok.

A highlight of a long trip

My wife and I visited for two nights as part of a honeymoon tour of Italy, and staying at Villa Monica was the perfect way for our trip to finish. Pascal and Monica seem to really enjoy what they do, and therefore want to ensure your stay with them is as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.They were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and happy to provide plenty of tips, advice or anything else you could ask for. The room was great, and the view of Sorrento and Vesuvius was breathtaking - ordinarily this would feature more prominently in the review, however I feel it's important to emphasize how great the service was from our hosts. We will certainly be returning to Sorrento in the future, and would not want to stay anywhere other than Villa Monica. Could not recommend highly enough.

I traveled with my daughter to Sorrento and we stayed at Villa Monica for two weeks it was a wonderful experience. Pascal and Monica are great hosts, breakfast was excellent and Pascal sense of humor and driving skills are terrific. There's a shuttle service that runs very punctual which is of a great help because B&B is outside town. This was my first time trying a B&B and I don't regret it I will choose Villa Monica again if I had to, they both are very helpful. Great stay!!!
