"We booked this property having looked at pictures and facilities and the price being reasonable but was not informed that the hotel was undergoing changes, building work and a name change. We were woken up early by building work every day on week days and the facilities we thought were linked to the hotel did not exist. "Very nice quiet hotel overlooking Lake Ontario"

"The room itself was ok, beds were very hard like people have mentioned in other reviews. Has everything you would normally find in a 2 star hotel except for a microwave. There is definitely a musty/mothball odour when you first enter but I guess you get used to it because it goes away or at least did for me. The best part however is the balconies which all face the lock so several times throughout the day you get a little show, watching all the boats go through. All in all with it for the...

"Great hotel. Would stay here again. Only negative was that we paid for Valet and could not get a hold of anyone for assistance at 7 am for checkout. No one at front desk either. Were told by two employees the night before just to call 4009 in the morning. "
