"I read varying reviews of this hotel, but overall, I thought it was a nice property, and certainly a good value. Yes, the elevators are very small (probably because of the building's age), the lobby is modest, and if some rough edges on wallpaper will ruin your stay, perhaps look elsewhere. But front desk staff were great, the room was spacious and comfortable, water pressure in the shower was good and stayed consistently hot, and WiFi worked well. The location is excellent, in easy walking...

"The only negative is a tiny room with AC Units so high on the wall I had to stand on the bed in order to adjust the temperature. And I am 6 foot tall. LOL. It was clean and quiet with the bear minimum in a tiny room with a small bed. So far short, I think it’s fine. For a long stay, I’d be asking for a much bigger room. "

"Such a cool place! The lobby was tastefully decorated with baseball memorabilia. Such a cozy place with fire place , couches, coffee/tea. Very welcoming. Then our room was great. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Would love to return!"

"The door man remembers us every time we arrive and is a big part of why we choose the property. It appears they have taken away the coffee service in the mornings and we always appreciated the wine happy hour, which they have stopped. But it is a great property and the staff make all the difference."
