"The hotel entrance was lovely..the walk to the room was concerning.. the hallway had DIRTY SHAG CARPET THAT WAS PEE STAINED FROM DOGS !!! .. The room itself was spacious and comfortable.. but lots of damage on the floors ( suitcases, dogs ? … it could have been cleaned up ? ) … Our room faced the road that all the deliveries were received very noisy early in the morning on the weekdays. The beds were comfortable and room was well equipped. "

"This is a beautiful property in a picturesque location. I stayed for one night in a single room which was clean, cozy and very comfortable. The staff at check in were friendly and knowledgeable, giving restaurant recommendations in the area. The area around the hotel is beautifully landscaped and perfect for strolling The breakfast buffet was incredible! Many different options all perfectly displayed. I highly recommend and would stay here again when in the area "

"Staff was super friendly and forthcoming, except during breakfast time. I asked for mor sugar for my coffee and the waitress said no. We only get what is on the table. I spoke to the manager and he immediately got us more sugar. Great ambience in the hotel. I was a little shocked as the waitress that refused us sugar, seemed to not be able to speak either English, German, or French. That's rough as those are the main European languages of this region."

"This hotel was awesome. We were only here one night on a trip through the Black Forest, but it was great. It's cute and quaint and quiet. The dinner in the hotel is truly one of the best I have ever had and I've traveled a lot of Europe. The menu is set, but I ate many things I wouldn't normally and loved every one of them. The decor is based on the book The Little Prince by Saint Exupery, and there are pictures of him on the side of the building, on the walk way at night as well as framed pictures of various characters throughout the buildings. The beds were rather hard, but the decor in our room was stunning.
