"This hotel was awesome. We were only here one night on a trip through the Black Forest, but it was great. It's cute and quaint and quiet. The dinner in the hotel is truly one of the best I have ever had and I've traveled a lot of Europe. The menu is set, but I ate many things I wouldn't normally and loved every one of them. "Stunning property and only a 20 min bus ride in to bern. Also for me added bonus of free ev charging. The room was ultra modern with everything you needed. Pool looked refreshing and inviting but never had time to use it. Breakfast was fantastic and tasteful."

"Booked this place by mistake but we were very glad as it worked out better for us. Quiet, rooms were very spacious we had a balcony so sitting out in evening was wonderful. Breakfast was superb. We asked for a kettle for our room and staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Would definitely recommend and great value . 2 female friends from Canada on tour "

"The room was spacious and comfortable, but certainly not worth the price nor rating of a 4.5 star hotel. Hotels.com boasted "4 restaurants" while in actuality there was only one restaurant with 4 different sitting areas with the same menu and you could not choose in which area you wished to sit. The older staff was also not at all friendly and acted a bit annoyed with every question or request. There were also loud noises with the creaking of the wood steps and hallways."
