"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel New Grand Yokohama. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, and the location was perfect—within easy walking distance of both Yokohama Chinatown and Motomachi. This was a special birthday trip for my elderly mother, and we were deeply touched when the staff member who escorted us to our room wished her a happy birthday. That thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable. The traditional Japanese breakfast was exceptional, with outstanding quality and attention to detail. What impressed us most was how well the entire hotel is maintained. It was clear that everyone—from the maintenance team to the hospitality staff—takes great pride in caring for this beautiful historic hotel. Thank you for making our stay so special. We would be delighted to return on our next visit to Yokohama."

"Easy access to train station and close to cafes and restaurants. Walkable to a lot of shopping areas. Because it was close to the train station, it was easy to get to a lot of landmarks. Staff were professional and were helpful. They answered all of my questions about luggage delivery service. Which is a plus to be able to drop off at the lobby for delivery to your next location."

"I can’t find a single point of complaint of this hotel. Staff are extremely helpful even if you can’t speak fluent Japanese. Room is clean, amenities are great (WiFi, free water, inexpensive laundry machines, free coffee and tea, and etc). The location is great, drug/convenient store just right next to the hotel, 3 mins walking to Yokohama station, 5 minutes walk to shopping centers and malls. Not to mention all the nearby restaurants."
