"I rely heavily on quest reviews when selecting a hotel. So i wanted to take the time to give an accurate personal review from a very picky traveler but on a budget of sorts. I want a trendy, hip, clean, friendly hotel. Everyone has a different opinion of what makes each of these qualities. Here’s what happened start to finish… We were greeted immediately upon walking through the door, helped with our luggage and given recommendations for a brunch spot. Alice checked us in and was extremely friendly. Andy and Miquel handled our luggage (storing and delivering). They were so nice! The hotel is small and cozy. I did a lot of research on rooms and accommodations. LUDLOW delivered -especially for a vintage hotel in NYC! We had three girls so we opted for the double room which was perfect! One KIng bedroom and a queen bedroom, and a shared darling bathroom. The king bed I slept in was extremely comfortable and the sheets and comforter were delightful! Very quiet.WE were asked if we could benefit from luggage racks and they brought us up 3 immediately. Each room had a small closet for hanging items. Our king room had built in shelves beside closet for storing a lot of items. The hallway with the bathroom had a nice hangar for 6 hooks for our coats, etc.Very nice. The elevators might have been a bit slow as other guests mentioned but really nothing to complain about- maybe a 2-3 minute wait. The hotel lobby was spectacular! Always busy/happening.Anna was amazing!perfect place!"
