"We stayed here just overnight, so didn't need the extra perks. Excellent full breakfast. The only problem was that the tv didn't work when we got in the room that night. Maintenance came, but by the time it was fixed, it was time for bed."
"Close to the ferry, we used Arnold, to get to Macinac Island. The kids also used the water park next door, they said the outdoor pool was warmer than inside."

"The location is awesome. Shepler’s ferry and downtown Mackinaw are less than a mile walk from the hotel, and it’s an easy walk. The state park lake shore and fort are a five minute walk. The hotel is clean, breakfast was awesome (eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and other items). Our room was a king with couch, very spacious. The only negative: our room was on the top floor above I75. It was VERY noisy when certain vehicles would drive by on the highway. I wish I could have turned the AC fan on continuously to muffle the noise, but it wouldn’t stay on. Bring something to muffle the highway noise in case your room is on that side. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
