"Our room was lovely. Bear with the hotel during their refurb. What they have done so far is quirky but tasteful. Food was good and reasonable. Bit of a busy breakfast on Sunday which staff/ kitchen struggled to cope with. Apart from that, a great stay. "

"We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre.
The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels.
We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights.
We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge.
Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel .

"Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."
