"Very little information provided by the property or staff, especially annoying was that there is a monorail which takes you closer to the Las Vegas Strip but absolutely no information was either presented or provided by staff. The entry door by the registration desk out of sync and was dangerous (one side closed on entry rather than open. I was struck by it on the fist day and reported the issue to the main desk. I was not asked if I was injured or alright just a simple note taken. When we left on the 4th day this door has not been fixed. This lack of carelessness was shameful. Would I recommend the Luxor NO feedback from others seemed to indicate their accommodation was better,certainly more responsive. "

"The good: - Property has a great location. Right across from Bellagio, 10 min to Caesars Palace, and 5 min walk to tons of restaurants. - Staff were very nice and the check-in was about as smooth as possible. The Bad: - No microwave or coffee maker in the room. I had to forgo my morning coffee because i wasn't spending $7 a day on plain black Starbucks coffee. - While the view of the fountain was nice, the window was absolutely filthy and detracted greatly. So much so I couldn't even take pictures/video of the fountain show. I have pictures of the window to share. - Our trip was a getaway to celebrate our 8 year anniversary, and stated such in my reservation. However, the room we were put was on the same wall as the elevators and we had to listen to them going up and down ALL NIGHT LONG. Again, i took video (at 2AM) which highlights these sounds. This caused poor sleep which was then exasperated by the lack of coffee. If you don't believe me, try spending a night in room 1781. Lastly, the Ugly: - The HVAC filter was absolutely disgusting. Words can't possibly describe how dirty the filter was. Again, we took pictures/video of this issue. There was about a half-inch deep amount of dust and dead skin caked on the filter. In the video, we took a pen to scrape a section of the filter and words don't do justice. I'm willing to bet, the filter has never been changed because the screw to open and change the filter is painted over and clearly hasn't been removed."
