This hotel has recently had updates, the room we stayed in was clean, the renovation seemed a little sloppy but this property offers a good casino, good restaurants and very helpful staff.
This is our 3rd time staying there. The staff is always helpful and nice. Wr have tried other places and we just prefer the Strat. The rooms are great and clean my only complaint is the bed the mattress is hard.
Definitely go with the renovated rooms!
Panoramic in their room descriptions do not mean views of the strip- it’s just their version of describing their open concept room layout
Lots of amenities on site
Conveniently located to many attractions and clubs
This Hotel was perfect for my stay, I was able to walk to some the shows I was seeing or close by bus to go to some other show. My room was all I wanted to be for my needs. I saw a great show at the Hotel and would recommend it to everyone and then went up the tower for great food and great view. And my favorite gambling machines were everywhere. I loved my stay at The Strat.

Affordable. The casino area is really nice. The Front Desk staff was amazing. I was dissatisfied with the rooms. They advertised newly renovated. However, the head boards were peeling, the rugs were stained counter tops were dirty.. Thank Goodness I carry Clorox wipes… we had to switch one room because it smelled of mildew… The restaurants are really good.
Good location if:
You want to be close to downtown Las Vegas/Fremont St (2 miles) or within reasonable drive of North Las Vegas (9 miles).
Walk about 10 minutes to the Sahara and you have access to the monorail's northern most stop with all stops down to MGM available to you.
Fridge and coffee maker in the room.
Two outdoor pools but check as they are seasonal/event driven. The Strat tower a must visit, especially in daytime to see the whole area.
The property itself is great. The top of the Strat is the best view in Vegas and a great place to have a cocktail. The only issue with the Strat is its location. It's sort of in no mans land between downtown Vegas and the heart of the strip. You have to uber to virtually anywhere as you're not in walking distance to anything.

Clean room, check in was on a kiosk and directions where texted, which didn't come in for awhile. Only received room service once out of 4 days 3 nights.
Staff was friendly, housekeeping came everyday to clean, tight security (love it) the double queen bedroom furniture, closet and bathroom was outdate. Did not like the view which we oversee the street traffic. This location is not walking distance to the strip, had to catch a uber. Overall, i was looking forward to the jacuzzi but they did not have one according to one of the staff members and the adult wet pool24 was closed.
Room was clean, but the furniture and interior were a little old. Towels had stains and some debris so I had to get some new towels. Restroom light was soooooooo dark. I don't know maybe the lightbulb was almost out. Casino was okay. Otherwise, staff members were nice and kind.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
It's Vegas the homeless is crazy around there. I got 2 rooms the basic on both, 1 room was clean and no issues 1 room was dirty, had a smell and bedding had holes. Someone did break the door lock on car in the parking garage. They said they had security out there but never seen any. We only at at 1 restaurant at hotel they close by 2 pm but it was very good we did breakfast on 1 day and lunch on another day there.

If you want a fridge or microwave, get more than the standard room. We were told it’s hit or miss in each room if you need an iron/ironing board. Fortunately we had one but the board was broken - my husband had to repair it himself just to get it to stand and the iron had stuff stuck to it. The room was clean and so was bathroom but the shower curtain doesn’t cover the length of the shower. The shower still spit out water even if you pulled the plug up to start the shower. Wi-Fi was decent speed but you had to log on each time you returned to room and sometimes more than once while you’re in it. The staff in every part of the hotel WAS very helpful and friendly though!

First room assigned was completely unacceptable with pure raw sewage coming up from the drain, and that was a room I paid $55 per night EXTRA to stay in!! On my way down to complain, the biggest cockroach I’ve ever seen in my life ran across my foot.. They then moved me to a “panoramic suite” which was fine. But if I would have booked for a “panoramic suite” and that’s what I walked into, I’d be very dissatisfied. There IS A REASON it is so cheap. STAY ON THE STRIP. You will be paying 20-25 dollars per uber every time you want to go somewhere, which will be ALL THE TIME because there’s nothing to do at the STRAT besides jump off it and eat at the top. Speaking of that, $400 for dinner and I thought the waiter was NEVER going to check on us and it was a special date night and the couple times he did come over he told us his entire life story. Food was good but not $400 good, service was poor, there’s nothing to do here. You are not saving money booking at this hotel. You’re just trading it for an uber bills. Stay somewhere nice in the middle of the action and do yourself a HUGE favor.
As soon as you walk in staff is nice to guide you and offer you the best deals on the hotel events and shows, also the price through the Expedia app was unbelievable, great price for the quality of hotel they offer and all amenities. Definitely coming back to Vegas and to this hotel that is taken care of the right way, location is perfect for every activity, I literally needed paper tissue and staff sent them right away to my room at no cost. Hotels with hundreds of rooms and people staying and they still will take care of every single customer, so glad I chose them. Thank you Le Strat can’t wait to come back!
The breakfast line was long the cost was expensive. After waiting 25 minutes to get in it took them almost an hour before we got our food. They barely had any servers apparently. The room had no refrigerator or coffee maker, I went to a motel 6 in quartzite AZ that had that. I mean I have had a room in near 30 years that didn’t have this. The bars and PTs restaurant were fine. It’s an awful place all in all- go somewhere else. Anywhere else.
