So this is a casino, an older casino So that keeps the room price down but they can improve the overall experience 1. Check is a joke. Go to a machine to check in and then wait for a room to be allocated. That could take ages, even after the advertised check in time 2. Need to get reception assistance with a real person, well line up and wait, for a longtime 3. And while your waiting, let’s pump cigarettes smoke into your lungs But on the good side, the room was cool and the bed was really comfortable

My wife and I made the best of it. The staff that takes care of the rooms were very pleasant. Outside of them the rest could use a course in manners and respect. The smell of sewer is a bit much for me. Once you exit the casino especially at the resort towers end where our room was located. The buffet was delicious with a good variety of food. As well as the dinner and a show. The show was amazing with the horses and knights. They really keep you interacting with the whole show which was fun. Especially if you have children with they will enjoy it and eating without silverware. Overall I really enjoyed it. Outside of the smell and rudeness of the staff. Would I recommend it probably not. But you live and you learn right.

We didn't go for the room. We went to he in Vegas and stay on the strip. For the price it was great. We mostly slept in the room and were gone the rest of the time. But the tournament of kings was great and a good time. Recommend that dinner show to anyone. We enjoyed our trip and stay at the Excalibur.

The check in was better when we dealt with a person, I was assigned 2 rooms by the check in computer 4 floors apart from my elderly ( both 80 yrs old ) parents. I had to get in another line and waited about 45 minutes to get it corrected. The check out was a whole lot easier when we were able to check out on the room TV. Very disappointed with the check in and check out , been coming to excalibur for my week vacation for about 15 yrs in the summer, not sure If i want to deal with this again

The room could’ve been cleaned more. I know it was newly renovated but the best thing the staff could’ve done is scrub the toilet bowl. There was filth in the water flush area in the drop tank (place where waste falls). The A/C unit was dirty, and my reservation didn’t get me a good view (got a very interior view of the main A/C exhaust vent. The buffet was good, albeit pricey, but I’m in Vegas so that’s what I expect. Compared to other Vegas resorts, Excalibur had A LOT more casino floor, and the top floor felt like a generic shopping area.

Pros: very clean room, fun theme for younger crowd, walking distance to very popular spots such as New York New York. Cons: lobby staff not so helpful, be ready to check yourself in with a QR, print your own keys - not too easy for non tech savvy folks, parking is a major challenge and you must pay for parking. Keep in mind they will hold a security deposit for a few days on your credit card, Tips: you MUST have your key with you at all times , check the hours for the arcade if you’re traveling with teens and look into taking the tram if you don’t want to walk to the nearby spots. By the way, you don’t have to sign up for MGM rewards. You can also insert cash in the slot machines if you plan to play slots. The app is not required.

To be honest I was expecting something different… because of I heard from the past reviews. This was our first time at Excalibur and would go back!! Clean! It didn’t look rundown, the room’s were clean I stayed in there renovated room. Great location! And we loved the $3 margaritas! Would definitely stay here again.
