"Great place and great location - especially if you are going on a cruise. Walking distance to the port and also to the bus and train station. A bit hot in our room since there was no air conditioning, but the fan provided helped. This was in June, though, and we had very hot weather. Would come back in a heartbeat!"

"The hotel staff at the reception were very helpful and so welcoming. However there was one member of staff in the laundry room who came across like she couldn’t be bothered helping when I asked her for a clean towel for the swimming pool area because the one she pointed me towards smelt really damp so I wanted a clean one and she just ignored me so I helped myself. The hotel- the cleanliness was not great. The room was quite outdated and the bed sheets had this damp smell. My daughters had a foldable bed and their mattress sunk in when they slept on it so they could literally feel the bed rail underneath but because we were just there for one night and it was late we didn’t complain. Breakfast was good it was a buffet style and had a good variety. Overall, we had a nice stay for the night as we used the swimming pool too. However, I wouldn’t return due to the lack of hygiene/cleanliness. The damp smelling sheets and towels really put me off 😑"

"Lovely and clean, we had the snug double and it was adequate, yes small but had all we needed, for a room you won’t be spending a lot of time in, breakfast was good, pastries not so good, but plenty of other food to choose from, so not a problem, private off road parking was a bonus"

"The room smelt surgically clean when we arrived but we soon got used to it! It was quite small but you get what you pay for and beds were super comfy. Parking was £12.50 for the day. It's very close to the retail park and West Quay shopping centre, and high street shops. If you want somewhere cheap and clean I would recommend here."

"Location was close to port but only a 5-minute taxi ride from shopping mall. The room was spacious with kitchenette.The staff was wonderful, efficiency, friendly . Having a laundry was super nice.and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stay for Southampton port , room was clean , bed was comfy . Didn’t use the bar and breakfast was good though a little busy ( guess everyone was using the port ) Staff was excellent and all in all a very nice one night stays. Would use again"
