"Request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs, request a room upstairs. Despite an amazing location, remodeled rooms and amazing stay, my only complaint is how thin the walls are. We go to bed fairly early but people upstairs stayed up and walked around and played music until 2am. It’s not their fault but I would request the room upstairs if I planned to stay again “also request a fan because it’s wayyyy too quiet and you hear everything!!!! But again, it’s a beautiful location, beautiful rooms and for the price, I’d book again"

"The property was clean. The staff were nice. But unfortunately the bed was lumpy. It’s okay, we were still able to get some sleep. My family was disappointed with breakfast. They served scrambled eggs with pork chorizo & Beans. We don’t eat pork. It would have been nice to have variety to choose from like plain scrambled eggs & some Turkey or Chicken sausage. Other than that everything was great. Thank you"

"What a beautiful hidden gem this property was. Patrick was so wonderful, he upgraded our stay and was such a pleasure to meet as soon as we drove onto the property. Knickerbocker Estates is so well maintained, has amazing outdoor areas to relax and enjoy with so many fun activities available. This is a beautiful property and is extremely comfortable!"

"Positives: Newly refurbished. Clean room. Location easy walk to village center. Staff (specifically, Evan) was very responsive and helpful. Reasonably priced. Negatives: Some basic /common features were missing. Eg, no power outlet next to the bed so use of a CPAP wouldn't be possible. (When I contacted Evan, he promptly went out and bought an extension cord for my use.) To turn on/off the lamps attached to the wall next to the bed, one has to get out of bed to the opposite side of the room where the switch is. No USB charging outlets. We had a room with the bed in a loft a full floor above the main room. It's a lot of stairs to walk down and up to go to the bathroom, get something to drink, or move a suitcase if you wanted next to the bed. There was a French press coffee maker in the room (a nice feature), but no coffee or creamer. Note that these comments are specific to the room we stayed in. Even though there are a number of "negatives" in my comments, it is on the whole a nice place to stay. Older people and/or those with back issues or any mobility issues should avoid the rooms with a loft."
