"Need to improve on the cleanliness of the kitchen. Inspect the kitchen utensils, the water filter is leaking, the dish soup is non-existent, the drying rack left in the kitchen cupboard to house insects, the living room sofa leather was teared apart. The amenities advertised includes water bottles, but when asked for it from the staff on site, it’s not provided as complimentary. The bedroom door cannot be locked for some room, there’s stain on every bed and bedsheets. Overall the 3 bedroom...

"Great place with nice rooms and beautiful view (both to Mt Kinabalu and Kota Kinabalu). Standard Malaysian breakfast and decent lunch and dinner menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room (104) was very good although there are a few ants around (so make sure not to leave food around). Bed, shower and toilet were nice and clean. Internet worked quite well (not guaranteed in this area). Our best place in Sabah so far (out of 6 good hotels)."

The hotel has not been maintained as well as it should be for a 5 star resort at these room prices. My first stay at this resort was 2004 and it was really nice and like a 5 star hotel. The most disappointing experience is the condition of the gardens around the garden apartments with open drains, broken fences dead grass and dangerous bridges which were just closed instead of repairing them. The pools, beach and breakfast and staff are great Great place to relax, the city of KK has very little...

Was able to get early check in which was so nice as we had taken the red eye. Hotel was quite far from downtown - takes about 30 mins from the airport to downtown then give or take another 20 - 30 mins from downtown to 1Borneo depending on the traffic jam that day. Taxi from airport would cost MYR 50 while from downtown MYR 30 so costs could add up just with transportation alone. Location is convenient when taking tours as it was on the way to city highlights such as Kinabalu Park, Poring...
