We had a rooftop room with a balcony, which was a real highlight and gave us wonderful views over Brig and the surrounding mountains. "Allen lodge was a little piece of heaven with their stunning Matterhornn views, beautiful furnishings, comfortable rooms, and wonderful, kind staff. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and taxi service to and from the train station (available if you stay 2 nights or more). My only gripe is that the WiFi wasn’t very reliable, but cellular service was great so it wasn’t a big problem for us. Would definitely stay again!"

"Fantastic stay at the Jägerhof - comfortable room with balcony that had a direct view of the Matterhorn [which we could see out the window from our bed!] Great shower and breakfast [fresh bread was delicious]. Their own electric transport collected us from the station and returned us back there - although it is not far to walk [15mins] and super restaurants can be found in 5-10 min walk. You do not need the car as all activities, shops and restaurants are walkable - which was fantastic. We lived our stay here and would definitely recommend."
