We were stuck here during the snow storm that hit Zermatt and caused the trains to be closed for two days. The staff did the best they could to provide entertainment, warm food and a place to say while we waited out the train. The hotel has great amenities, pool and spa services. Also only a very short walk to downtown shops and restaurants and the ski shops and lifts to the mountains! We will be back!

It was a goid choice.

Everything was nice, from the moment of checking in to checking out. Room, amenities, facilities and restaurant. Even the shuttle service was provided upon arrival at the station. I strongly recommend to stay.

Just a 5 minute walk to the train station although they also have a small shuttle to pick you up or drop you off (which helps if you have much luggage). There is a grocery store just 2 minute walk as well and it’s about 10 minutes to old town area. The shuttle train to the viewpoint for the Matterhorn is just across the street from the train station. Accommodations, food, and staff were terrific.

Good value and very helpful staff

Just very sensibly run. Everything I’d think to do, they’ve done. The wellness area is intelligently designed with pool, hot tub, changing areas etc. The rooms aren’t fancy but they are adequate and have better channels than more expensive hotels (I checked). Good breakfast too!

Lovely hotel with wonderful helpful staff. Everything was lovely especially the spa. Too bad they are building next door starting at 0700 with large equipment. I realize that is out of their control. Would return after construction finished!
