"An old hotel, but very updated. Our TV had different options for Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. the room was nice and big, great for 2 people. And it was a 2 minute walk from Nabari Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The only problem we noticed was in the light there were some cobwebs. We did see a spider on the wall as well. Other than that, everything was fine!"

"Love this hotel! Second time i stayed at this hotel and had good service. This time was a bit different. They could not find my reservation for the luggage to be shipped and then when we checked in, they didn’t give us the breakfast tickets which was included when I made the reservation. From the outside it seems rather like a conventional hotel, but once inside you know you are in a special place--real, traditional Japan, away from crowds, lights, concrete, glass and steel, but in view of surrounding garden spaces open spaces, impeccable interior design with sacred corners and views that let you turn inside and simply relax--even when it's 100 degrees outdoors. The room was beautiful, minimalist, perfectly appointed with a super comfortable bed. I had a view of the interior garden, which I loved. I can't say enough about this wonderful hotel and when I return to Kyoto, this is where I'm staying! Stay there and be happy...."
"Hotel was Amazing , clean no bedbugs and really close to the station as a central location in Kyoto it was brilliant.
Hotel staff were friendly the included breakfast at the Buffet was extremely enjoyable lots of choice.

My only bug bear was i ate Dinner one time in the restaurant and for what i got i could have got the same thing and quality cheaper at Kyoto station porta Dining.
