"Hotel was great. Kyoto is bigger than I expected. Hotel is great, but not walkable enough to tourist areas, although there was a metro station very convenient and close by . Quiet and safe area. Laundry area small had to wait a while"

"Loved this hotel; rooms were the largest of all the hotels we stayed while in Japan. Breakfast offered a variety that didn’t change much from day to day but it was great. About a 5 minute walk from Kyoto station where connecting trains and buses are easily available. Of note, most day tours meet up about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The only thing to note; some of the main areas of Kyoto a tourist may want to see are about a 40-50 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel, absolutely loved it, thank you to the wonderful staff!!! "
