"Lovely country hotel with a good beer selection and menu"

"Cleanliness...there were cobwebs on the ceiling right above my bed, grime around taps in bathroom, no toilet paper, or bin liner in bathroom. We would have had a nice view from our window if the grass had been cut...it was so overgrown & uncut that it actually really let the place down 👎👎👎 windows could have been doing with a clean 👎 Im disabled & on the first night l had nowhere to park as a works van was parked in the disabled bay, my 2 sisters & niece had to get out of my car & guide me...

"Excellent rooms, very clean and very private, very friendly hosts and a good choice of breakfasts available plus excellent restaurants in the local area. Highly recommend. "

"Staff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning."
