Surprisingly affordable, conveniently close to the airport and public transport station, and a wonderful property with all the amenities but a boutique hospitality feel.

The Radisson Red was a great overnight stay, we stayed here to be close to airport, had an early flight out of Gatwick. The room was clean and large enough for the night. Our beds were singles after we booked a queen and one towel was marked but overall the service and price was good. Would stay there again if needed.

The property was very clean and the staff very helpful. Couple of things to point out were, one, ordering food to the restaurant, you have to pick it up to take it to the room, and the second, I could not control the temperature of the room from the thermostat, the person at the front desk had to do it from his end. Now, the property is very close to Gatwick Airport and there is a shuttle you can pay to take you to the airport. I will stay again.

It was close to the airport and the shuttle service was good. However the room was dirty, dust everywhere, bogies wiped on the wall near the bed. Towel has makeup stains on it. The toilet flush is too high to water sprays out of the bowl all over the bathroom floor and the toilet seat.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Gatwick and the ratings were exceptionally high. The room appeared to be cleaned but was not spotless. The lighting in the room was terrible. The bathroom had no electrical outlet and limited space for toiletries. Housekeeping was terrible. They didn’t replenish the tea and coffee, exchange the cups and glasses with clean ones or make up the bed. Getting to and from our room with luggage was extremely inconvenient due so many doors. It appears that there may be a staffing issue. For a hotel so large, there appeared to be limited staff.

Got to hotel and had booked 2 single beds but given a double. Told the "small print" stated only if available. Thankfully we were eventually put into a single beds room as it would have been most awkward given our travelling circumstances. The new room was clean but there was a very nasty smell in the corridor on the way to the room. The hotel needs upgrading in the corridors. The hotel bar shut rigidly at 11pm despite dozens of guests arriving at that time and there is no room service. The staff were absolutely lovely despite all of this. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
