"I loved this hotel. We stayed here our last night in Japan before heading to Narita the next day. It was a wonderful change from the cityscape and the first portion of our fascinating trip to Japan. The aerial train tracks offering an amazing look at and winding through the incredible buildings leading into this area is worth the trip! We enjoyed dinner at the 5 level "mall", it's all we wanted, our trip was winding down. The area is in an event capital, so many young people after participating in their sport. The hotel was close to the train station, easy to get out in the morning. "

"Second time staying here for one night stay. Excellent. Room is spacious and shuttle bus to airport was consistent, even tried shuttle bus to mall to pass time before flight. All staff was very professional. Great hotel to stay in if going through Narita airport. "

"The Shiomi Prince is such a lovely, lovely hotel. The atmosphere is just so, in the lobby and the rooms, the staff are wonderful, and the amenities provided are unparalleled, especially at the price point. Biggest bathtub in a room I've yet encountered in Japan, and we didn't even know about the free hotel onsen when we booked! The Family Mart attached at the entrance, also super convenient, as is the grocery store and train station less than a block away. All that said, a word to the wise: maybe skip the hotel laundry room. Their washers are set up in such a way to not take detergent, it's marked "eco-friendly", but at least for my group and the small load that we washed... came out a little funky, still. "

"Close to transportation! Nice facilities and great selection of free amenities. Rooms are small but for party of 2 it was great. Bathroom and showers were clean for the most part. Overall great, affordable option. "
