"Check in was easy and fast. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet. Breakfast was great. I will stay here again when I’m in the area. "

"Had to yell for the front clerk to come out from the office to register in and then when i returned an hour later and wanted to buy water she was no where to be found. Waited over 20 minutes for her to return from who knows where before i could get the water. Woman working breakfast bar was a mean woman who when i said good morning too she just gave me a dirty look and keep walking. Both of those employees need a serious attitude adjustment. "

"the room was very musty and damp. I am not sure if the AC was not removing the moisture from the room, or is this just how Galveston is. Carl at the front desk was awesome."

"check-in took forever and I had to listen to the hotel deliberately blaring music on the first floor. treadmill was broken in the 'fitness center' which was the only reason I chose the hotel over cheaper ones, and when I took the stairs back to my room there were men hanging out, drinking beer in the stairwell. When I stayed at this hotel a few years ago I thought it was a good deal but it must be under new management."

"I have never had issues with any hotel stays but this one needs better management. Hotel needs to do better with cleaning the rooms. Looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in days or longer. Room had a weird smell and it was a non-smoking room. When I was going to plug in my charger there was some kind of metal sticking out of the plug so we didn’t even charge our phones due to not wanting to damage them. "

"This place is old and my room was dirty Had to wash my feet after walking in the floor. And it has a musky smell. Very dissatisfied "

"Hotel needs updating. Elevator did not work, dark and dingy. The parking was fine. The front desk staff was very friendly. Our room had no toilet paper holder, it was just sitting on counter. I stepped on a roach going to bathroom in middle of the night. A couple fought all night long. Screaming and keeping us up. I do not recommend this hotel."
