"I like the attention received by the staff as they were very helpful and kind. I want to mention that Edwin from the hotel restaurant was extremely friendly. The food offered at the restaurant that is part of the hotel was excellent and very varied. I also like that the hotel is across from the Guayaquil Cathedral and Iguana Park. The hotel is attached next to a mall so you even have stores that you can shop at."

"this was my first time staying at this place and... believe me i liked a lot. i had a really light dinner and i enjoyed it too. the place is nice and the zone around is walkable and a lot of places to know. i really recommend as a great option ton stay with DoubleTree ata the Malecon! thanks a lot guys!"

"This was not our best experience after numerous stays this was pretty much the worst. The room had a very strong musky smell that required deodorization, we were without hot water most of the time. In fairness, they wanted to move us to another room but after a long trip we had no energy to move again. The staff is always great and accommodating , yet the last few stays have disappointed us somewhat. Rooms are starting to show some real wear and tear, repairs would be appreciated."
