"Always a great stay. This time was the best. We opted for self check in. A manager came over to help my friend check in. The kiosk prints cards and the receipt. VIP for Expedia guests. We got a 2 hour late checkout. This is my 5+ stay. Starbucks coffee shop inside the hotel. Recommended!"

We especially appreciated how attentive the staff were to accommodating small children — it made a big difference in helping us feel welcome and supported. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with convenient sky bridges connecting directly to nearby malls, making shopping and dining incredibly easy and enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and will gladly recommend Grand Hyatt Taipei to friends and family traveling to Taiwan! "

"We had a good experience staying at this hotel. Our luggage was safe when we dropped it off in the morning before checking in. The hotel was clean and for the most part we didn't hear noise from the surrounding rooms. It was easy to do laundry but the dryer to the right did not work well. The two washers and dryers required coins, which we could get from the front desk. The metro entrance was right outside the building making it easy to travel around the city. We didn't pay for the breakfast at the hotel but had no trouble finding food nearby. "

"Walk a few feet from the hotel and you can jump on the train to Taipei City! Buy ticketsand have a $50 or less as machines dont take big bills. We had a 10 hour layoverso we wanted to see the downtown and old city. Its about 35 minutes to get there on the train. There is an express train which is the one we took. Wefound a benihana style locals place that was excellent and airconditioned.No issues with train. The hotel will store your luggage."
