Excellent location right next to a subway stop that will get you to just about anywhere in Taiwan. Restaurants and convenience stores 10 min walk away.
The staff were welcoming and helpful. I found Derek to be the highlight there. He was efficient in helping with luggage, assisting us and very efficient in getting things done. No time wasted. The hotel has a great restaurant that’s really popular. I also liked the gender hot springs and vending machine. It’s close to a laundromat, pubic transit, 7-11 and many places to eat. Highly recommend and would come back again.

Triple room was a good size. Hotel was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
Room is very clean. Hotel is very new. Restaurant has good Italian food. Area is convenient to transit. Right next to the metro. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Lounge has water and coffee/tea. Very comfortable stay. Shower was big and comfortable; washroom has a cool toilet that opens and closes automatically as you enter and leave the washroom. :D
I chose the MGH after having had a great experience staying at their hotel in Kyoto years back. I arrived too early to check in, but was able to store my suitcase. It wasn’t too long later that I received a call that my room was ready. The early check-in allowed me to recover quickly from 20+ hours of travel to get from Portland, OR to Taipei. The room and bed were very comfortable. I felt so much better after a brief rest that I was able to get out and explore the city. The location is very convenient as it’s next to a subway stop on the Bannon line, and it’s walking distance to shops and restaurants. I would undoubtedly choose to stay here again the next time I visit Taipei!

The room was great spacious clean, the public bath is amazing and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was the construction at the building right next to the hotel, and my room was beside it so my view was all constructions and noises in the morning. I wish the hotel offered some kind of compensation when they assigned me that room.

Hotel, location, service, breakfast and spa were all great. Big disappointment for me was the lack of gym. Unacceptable.
Room was beautiful and nicely appointed. It fit me and my daughter perfect for our girls only trip. The only inconvenience was taking a shower since the walls were all glass. We had to plan our showers since the other person had to stay on their side of the hotel room when the other showered. Staff was always friendly! The hotel was RIGHT next to the train station, making it so convenient! I will definitely stay here if I return to Taipei!
This hotel was a find. Great central location, MRT stop is literally next to the hotel. The area has great access to local shops to grab what you need (7-11 is 3 min walk away, next to a cute little park where you can bust out all the yummy Asian snacks and rest in shade.). Five min walk away is a small night market with great food options, a fun multi-story electronics mall and DonDonDonki supermarket.
The hotel got just about everything right. VERY QUIET inside (there was construction outside my window that was pretty much inaudible). The hallways were well carpeted and I never heard other guests. The room was standard size. If you are two travelers with a lot of luggage you will have to be smart about the space or get a larger room but for me it was spacious enough.
Everything was well and smartly designed - for example, there were seemlessly designed light controls for some/all lights by the bed but the bedside light also had a physical switch in a groove on the wall that you can easily find by touch. The roller curtain was blackout and the thermostat was simple to operate the very quiet air-conditioning. They even thought through the do-not-disturb tags - they were simple magnets you stuck on the door. And I particularly appreciated the superfancy Toto toilet, IYKYK :).
The entire hotel was spotless, staff was very professional and courteous.
I was not familiar with this hotel chain before and now I they have my attention. Truly two thumbs up.
