"We booked a double room.but when we arrived they had let our room out and gave us a twin room so i complained and they added free breskfast & drinks so we were fine . The room was large The beds were made into a double & was large & comfortable, room had iron & iron board , safe , fan , good tea tray & a seating area . "Comfy and spacious room even though it was on the 3rd floor, with no lift. Good exercise for one with mobility issues! Lovely views of the meadows from the room, easy to bird watch. Swan nesting nearby was an added attraction. An improvement could be made to the continental breakfast, not up to Premier Inn standards"

"staff were pleasant enough, but we stayed in the honeymoon suite which as you walk in has a carpeted area with a wardrobe, a sink in the corner, a shower (no curtain) and a jacuzzi bath??? The door to the left has a toilet and the door to the right has a four post bed, tv & side cabinets. Breakfast was nice as had a fry-up but waited a while for a member of staff to notice that we'd entered the room & also that another couple had come in. "This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil"
