"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"I stayed here on New Years Eve 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Stratford. On arrival at the hotel staff couldn’t find my booking; I showed them my confirmation having paid in full. They managed to give us a room, but not sure what would have happened if the hotel was fully booked? Our room was very dated, could do with some modernisation. But overall good value for money. "

"We were unable to drop our bags off or collect a parking ticket for the nearby car park until after the check-in time as there was no one was at the property. This meant that we had to pay for a few hours parking. Once we arrived, we were told that a parking ticket from the B&B would cost a further £5, unless we paid at the machine on the car park which would cost us another couple of pounds. "Fab hotel - reception team welcoming, easy check-in, room had a large comfortable bed and well appointed with decent coffee machine etc. We have stayed here before and it has everything we need. Slightly rundown bathroom round the floor and door edges - peeling paint and it looked a bit grey and not sparkling clean round the shower tray. Bar was great for a few nightcaps and it feels a comfortable hotel to spend time in. "
