Steglitz Hotels near Berlin

"The location is great and it could have been a good stay but unfortunately there were too many issues. I stayed in a double bedroom but was only provided a single duvet as bedding. The external blinds were not working properly and kept opening up by themselves in the middle of the night. The heating was locked and could not be adjusted and was noisy throughout the night. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, I visited Berlin for the half marathon and in the very early morning of the race the fire alarm went off requiring the building to be evacuated which was not a good way to start the day."

"We had ordered a double room but got room where two single beds were pushed together, which made joint sleeping a lot less comfortable. The reception smelled like cigarette smoke when we checked in. That aside, our stay was pleasant."

"Would not recommend this hotel. Apart from the location, about 10 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz station where you can get metro/ train/trams all over for sightseeing. (Many other hotels in this area). Reception Staff are rude. Room was clean, but lacking the expected 4star - no iron. No fridge, no shower cap, no solid hand soap, towels were like old rags included a picture was appalled. Safe didn’t work had to report it twice before any maintenance came. Tv remote didn’t work most the time. (Battery problem) Would never return to this hotel. "

"Great location. Staff was great and very knowledgeable of the area. The food inside th e restaurant and outside restaurant was good. It great to see taxis available for your service if needed."

"Room was very noisy to outside traffic, shower door needed refitting as it swings open whilst showering. Bathroom radiator broken. No air-conditioning so window needed to be left open during the day to keep ambient temperature. Came home absolutely shattered. Beds were comfy and room clean. Traffic noise was mainly trams which run from 4am until 1am daily."
