"Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. "

"A splendid late 18th century mansion in a neighborhood that is a veritable Gilded Age fairyland, with a grand, bubbling fountain and gaslight lamps (!) in the boulevard outside. "The check-in staff were really friendly & helpful. The room was a nice size and had everything we needed. The location is great and just 1 block from activities on Market St. Parking on the street is free but very limited, otherwise there’s a pricey parking garage on the back side of the hotel. "
