"Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. "

"A splendid late 18th century mansion in a neighborhood that is a veritable Gilded Age fairyland, with a grand, bubbling fountain and gaslight lamps (!) in the boulevard outside. In fact, inside and out this place was like stepping into a romantic dream of the past.
