Hotels near St George Square

"Outside hotel needs a refresh. Beautiful gardens etc. Public areas are great. The buffet is ok but some food appears to be lightly cooked ie sausages. Chairs in di ing room hit and miss as wobbly, staff often unable to understand stuff. Room was musty, bathroom dated, no spare plugs, no usb, basically room needed to be updated. Balcony very bland, great view but no plants. Bar areas excellent and coffee good. Pool area good as well. Position of hotel fine, they did provide a shuttle to main town but that ended 8pm. "

"Stayed for 3 nights and it was great. Had a lot of useful items in the room like a microwave, iron etc. The sea view was beautiful and beds were clean and comfy. Wish it had some tissues and a hairdryer in the room. Breakfast was also good and had a variety of food. Location was great too and had a lot of restaurant options nearby and I was able to travel to all different areas of Malta for cheap and with ease. Even though the outside area was busy with other tourists and cars, you couldn’t hear anything in the room and it was quiet in the building."

"The hotel is in a really great central location. Staff were friendly and it was very clean. Breakfast was basic and repetitive. The hotel advertised a roof top bar, this is not the case it’s a terrace with fantastic views but you have to phone reception if you would like a drink so slightly misleading. Hot water was an issue you had to run the basin tap for at least 5 minutes to get hot water to the shower. We had a king size bed but double bed linen which meant the duvet didn’t cover the mattress. We are well travelled and this is not our first visit to Malta. We booked a premium room and paid a premium price. Although a pleasant hotel I’m not sure it’s the best value"

"We had to wait till 2 PM to check in and checked out at 2:30 AM for our flight. A short stay, but all was good. We would book again."

"Wonderful stay at this 18-room boutique hotel. The staff was great and everyone was so friendly. We had numerous conversations with the Assistant Manager Mane and the Manager as well as all of the other staff persons. The hotel has a great location and the rooms felt luxurious. We stayed 7 nights which is a leisurely way to visit Valletta and Gozo. They provide a free wine nightly for hotel guests on their lovely rooftop terrace. "
