"Despite the room being a non smoking room the smell of stale smoke was unbearable. Despite complaining and asking to move rooms, the solution was to give me some room spray that failed to mask the smell and just made it worse… As I result I barely slept and I have gone to office the next day exhausted and smelling of stale smoke. Room was clean and fine, but there was no info, eg that there's an alarm which goes off if you don't latch the kitchen door, who to contact and how I'm case of need. "We stayed for a week. It was a good option for the price. Stayed on the ground floor and could hear what sounded like a herd of elephants above us for hours on end (it turned out to be human children) The floors are obviously very thin and not soundproof. Breakfast was great. Grounds were lovely. And the Heathley Arms Pub across the car park was wonderful for lunch and dinner options. "
