"We stayed 3 nights. The breakfast had lots of selections. It's near much of the area that people love - the Market. The room was good, the bed and pillows comfortable enough. The bathtub had a rail placement, and security that was a little sketchy. Although the bottom surface was roughted up - not slippery. The wifi for electronics other than a phone was problematic. My husband couldn't read his nook, as it wasn't able to download the next chapters. And I couldn't get onto the internet with my laptop. I had to call a service number, and spent 1-1/2 hours on the phone with them, doing this, doing that. In the end I said forget it, I'll try again in a day or 2. Two days later I tried again, calling the service number - this time it took about 15 minutes, and the agent got me on successfully. Before checking in here, we stayed in a Best Western off I95 in norhern South Carolina, and had to do the same process to get on the internet. The desk clerk said they maintain a firewall for laptops, unless they call. That time it took about 5 minutes to overcome that "fire wall." So I'm wondering - is this the policy now for all Best Westerns? I'm not sure, but on our travels I think I won't choose a Best Western going forward. Traveling is tedious, and tiring, so dealing with this adds to the frustration. I must have my laptop with me for business purposes, as I'm sure others do as well."
