HOTEL THE BOTANIK SEWOON MYEONGDONG

"Stayed as a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 9 and 16 years) in a 2 bed suite, for 3 nights in July 2026. We found the hotel easy to access, super clean and friendly staff. The room was on the 20th floor with a Namsan View - looking towards the Namsan Seoul Tower. It was spotless, modern, spacious and very comfortable. The room was well equipped with a kitchenette, fridge and microwave, plus a washing machine, dryer and clothing care cabinet. Laundry detergent sachets were available to buy from reception, cheaply. The only drawback was limited crockery and cutlery for the size of the room. The location was great. Close enough to walk to Cheonggyecheon stream (1-min!), Gwangjang Market, Myeongdong and night market, However far enough away to escape the crowds and constant hustle and bustle. When we didn't feel like walking, it is really close to at least 3 underground stations (Euljiro 3-ga, Euljiro 4-ga and Jongno 3-ga). There is a roof terrace which is great to view Seoul in the evening and a small supermarket outside reception which was well stocked. We didn't use the wider hotel facilities such as the games room or screening room. The staff were friendly and helpful, organising a taxi for us to the airport."

"The hotel’s location is excellent. It’s close to the subway station, shops, department store, and cafés, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly, too. We also appreciated that the hotel offered free parking, which was a nice bonus. The room we stayed in was spacious for a family of three. It even had a washer, which was helpful during our stay. Overall, our family enjoyed our stay, though the hotel could improve its upkeep. Part of the bathroom ceiling had black dust that initially looked like mold, and there was an unpleasant odor coming from the shower drain when we first used it. We also found the bed a bit uncomfortable. Despite these minor issues, we had a pleasant stay overall and would consider staying here again if we visit Korea in the future."

"My room here was the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. So stylish, thoughtfully appointed, spacious, just luxurious. I loved the loft, all of the space provided by the couch, and the view. The pool was also amazingly beautiful. The only downside is that some of the staff were quite rude and there seemed to be a miscommunication between hotels.com and the hotel itself about what kind of room I reserved. The staff insisted on seeing my actual booking online, causing me to open up my computer and login to hotels.com in the lobby, which was quite weird. Otherwise, a great stay!"
