"The rooms are a bit run down with bathroom facilities and lighting that are still in the 70s. The hotel says has a wellness center with pool, but this is an overstatement. The pool is maybe 10 mt long, the sauna is ok, the changing room is something between a storage room and a doctor's. the restaurant is ok, but nothing special with the waiting staff that could be more friendly "

"Unfortunately our prepaid reservation from several months ago was not known the to staff working the reception. Our party had hiked to the this location (all day hike) and was turned away. The hotel did find another available accommodation with a different property in another town and drove our party there - however would have to pay all over again, and none of the amenities important to us. "A quiet, fairly residential location meant we weren't quite sure what to expect from this hotel. We were delighted. The room was the usual size but well appointed with a great powerful shower and unusually a heat lamp to help you stay cosy while getting dried! We ate in the restaurant and the food was enjoyable. Breakfast had a good selection of items too. We used the garage to park our cycles and the racks were easy to access and seemed secure. The town centre wasn't too far away and there was nice parkland nearby for walks."
