"The staff was so kind and helpful! This is a family owned establishment and you can tell they take pride in it. We had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the next morning. The food tasted like grandma was in the kitchen preparing it. "

"This is a superb place to stay, especially with a dog. I traveled with a well-behaved 20 lb terrier, and the beds were comfortable, the water was hot and plentiful in the shower, and most of all, the grounds and proximity to hiking trails made it worthwhile. The food in the restaurant from breakfast to dinner was outstanding. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Just one suggestion, my bathroom was a little cramped and I was really missing a full-length mirror somewhere in the room. A very fine place to stay, it's nice when you can go somewhere that feels fancy but you don't constantly have to bite your nails about the cost. Everything was very reasonable, even the mini bar."

"We stayed at the hotel for a night, really enjoyed the area around the hotel, saw some deers. The owner was very friendly. We had a lovely meat and cheese platters for dinner."
