"For the last night of our honeymoon we chose the Chateau Tivoli for its history but what we most appreciated was the helpful attitude of staff, which made our stay and travel arrangements much easier.
Our room was a little small for the size of our luggage and the bathroom fittings (particularly the shower) had some awkward quirks but overall it was a charming place not too far from the waterfront and downtown."

"Perfect place to stay for a solo or couple to stay for 1-3 nights. Excellent location! All kinds of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Only drawback no elevator, rooms are up some steep stairs. Not recommended for elderly or disabled. Otherwise felt like I was staying in a charming boutique hotel in Europe. "
"Feels safe! Breakfast is an extra fee, but 100% worth it, could not find a eating spot and delicious food for that price otherwise. Will be coming back here!! "
"Great location! Across the street from Golden Gate Park, and parking lot with reasonable fees (for SF). Good restaurants are walkable, as well as a Whole Foods Market one block away. Continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, sausage, both pork and vegan, yogurt, cereals, juices, coffee and teas in a pleasant dining room. We hope to visit again!"
"I was lucky to be able to book a room day of due to my other option not working out and I am so grateful. Check in was easy, I booked online and the website and reviews give an honest description of the hotel. In a fun area and transportation is very easy to navigate. For a cheap stay i would say you get what you pay for but I am just so happy I could get in on such late notice in a friday night. "
