Hotels near SSTAR Family Healthcare Center

"Upon arrival the first thing I was greeted with was a sign taped to the reception desk stating the pool was closed "indefinitely". The corners of the sign looked like they had curled with age... I did see scaffolding in the pool area, but in my few days there I never saw anyone working, and believe me I looked. I suppose I should have called before booking to ensure the advertised amenities were in fact available, as I would have stayed elsewhere had I known the pool was not accessible. That being said, the staff were friendly and helpful. The provided breakfast was adequate and much appreciated. Beds were comfortable, and water pressure and hot water in the shower were fantastic. However, when I pulled back the sheets on my bed, the fitted sheet was covered with various hairs from previous guests. The caret had ink stains, the wall had coffee stains. The mini fridge wasn't operating properly, no matter how I set the temperature, everything I had in there froze was had to be discarded. The fitness center was much better equipped than most other hotels I've stayed at, and I greatly appreciated that. The nice thing was the fitness center is walled with glass windows that look down on the pool one floor below, and my anger from not being able to swim fueled me for some great workouts! Has the makings of a 5* stay for sure, but for me it wasn't quite there. If the pool was back operational next time, I'd give them another shot though."

"Good location to the beach and one of the entrance for Cliff walk. The room is clean and the staffs are nice. My kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. We also loved the dining room on the second floor. It is very helpful for big families."

"The staff were friendly and absolutely wonderful specifically the front desk. They handled all of our needs quickly and efficiently. The hotel had a great hot tub and was really well kept. The breakfast buffet was a subpar but we enjoyed our stay "

"The staff at the desk was so nice especially the blonde with glasses and short hair.. she was so friendly. Room smelled like dirty cheesy feet. Couldn’t find a blow dryer, and the bathroom door didn’t lock. It wasn’t worth the money imo but it was last minute booking. All n all it wasn’t bad."

"The hotel is aesthetically very pleasing and well located, but the on-site karaoke bar was a huge miss for us. Somehow we didn't realize this was in the lobby of the hotel when we booked, and it was incredibly disruptive and loud starting at 7pm. By 10pm, we had to ask to move rooms to a higher floor to get away from the noise. The rooms are stylish and decently appointed, if not a bit sparse. I was looking for a fun getaway for myself and my teenage daughter but the "cool" vibes ultimately backfired on us and robbed us of a relaxing stay. "
