This is our second stay at the hotel, and we enjoyed showing it to our kids. The common areas are nicely decorated and fun to hang out – my son particularly appreciated the foosball table. Our junior suite was comfortable and roomy, though did not have much of a view.

This place is quirky and characterful. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good and the dining room is open for other meals and is a popular local bar-restaurant. The location is excellent, on the waterfront next to the vibrant centre of the old town and handy for many tourist attractions.

Convenient location, but no parking onsite. Construction caused us to have to park quite a ways down the block. Clean facilities, but a little older building. Very small room and even smaller bathroom. Would consider it again for a future trip.

Great location. Easy walk to museums, local restaurants and shopping. Right on the waterfront so minutes away from cruise pier. Deluxe King room was huge. The only negative was breakfast seating was too cramped. Went to local “Rost” 3 minutes away. Overall glad we stayed there and would do it again.

The hotel is very well located for walking to Marina, restaurants and shopping. Although there is no space for cars and buses to pull in front of the hotel. Rooms are very clean but tiny with Marina view if you choose Marina side. They have l’occitane soap, shampoo, body wash, but no lotion. Breakfast not included and you can buy for $35 per person. Staff is very nice and helpful. Overall good experience.

Excellent stay, friendly staff and ideal location for excursions. Breakfast brilliant but expensive, though everywhere is expensive. Use the happy hours for cheaper food and drink, plus if you mention you are a guest of the hotel you get a discount, which unfortunately we only found out on our last night there. Also not mentioned if you forgo room cleaning you gain a credit to be used in the hotel, again we were not told till we were checking out. We still would return to this hotel but be more astute with all their discounts.

Great location on the waterfront! Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and bars, but far enough outside of the main strip that the loud pubs don’t keep you up at night. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again!

The Reykyavik Burgiya was well located by the Marina and many bars and restaurants and tourist sites. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, particularly Giorgio at the front desk! Rooms on the harbor side were quieter than on the south (street) side and had a nice balcony view of the harbor from the fourth floor rooms.
