"Originally we only planned to stay here one night but airline cancellations required us to stay an additional three nights. Staff at the hotel were able to accommodate our needs and actually provided a room upgrade. There is some construction going on that affected parking but everything else was great. Pictures don't do it justice. The complimentary breakfast could be improved by adding a few more selections (eggs, bacon) but I'm sure this is just an American expectation. To be fair, there was plenty to choose from and all of it was good. Our room had a great view of the harbor and was only about 20 minutes from the airport. Drives from the hotel to the main sightseeing areas are short and reasonable."

"Great location for northern lights and cozy spacious rooms! Host messaged about room number to check into 2 days ahead. Hot tub and sauna are on the roof of centermost rooms of property. Oddest thing was tea bags with sugar, but its the only place I've ever stayed with no coffee machine? "

"On site parking, friendly staff, nice room and incredible view over a frozen lake. Definitely recommend this hotel and after staying here with my daughter's to see a Laufey concert, already have my wife nagging me to stay again but this time bring her along"

"We had a fantastic stay here. The hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the atmosphere was really welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept really well. The location was also ideal, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Overall, it was a great experience and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "We enjoyed our stay at Icelandic Apartments. The facilities were clean and the kitchen was fairly well equipped. The only issues we had were with the door and room code, as well as the code to the laundry area for towels. However, the host worked with us to solve the issues and the response was immediate. We would stay there again."
