"This was our 10th Visit to the Milky Bay Hotel, and to our total surprise, the resort underwent a major renovation since we last stayed there, and it is absolutely beautiful!! We had a stunning room, and the staff that's become like family treated us like royalty. Well done on the superb renovation, and the Resort will remain one of our favourite places to go to!! "The check in process was relatively easy it’s walking distance from the pier about 500 meters the room was clean the aircon was cold there is free tea and coffee available in the foyer a kettle in the room would be more convenient but I was happy with my stay here "
"I checked in a bit late, got the key, drop my luggage and went out for diner and drink.
When I came back for sleeping I realized that the water in the bathroom was dripping and shower head was broken.
The morning after, I asked the lobby to fix those 2 problems, they did it and had a quiet night.
All of this to mention, the maintenance of the place is not very good, but when you ask them to repair stuff they will do it. I believe bad management but if you push people a bit they will do the...

"The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly.
The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."
