Simplistic rooms that are cute if you’re travelling with a friend. Staff was very friendly.

Staff were nice, great area. My biggest issue is the beds were very hard and uncomfortable as well they attempt to give you an actual towel as a blanket. I did point out that they advertise premium bedding and they immediately got me a very nice quilt.

There are was a drainage issue. The water would be standing in the washroom for a while before it drains. The staff is super friendly and helpful, so that was good. The climb to the bed requires climbing skills. Exercise daily, be in a good shape before booking this place.

Our stay at the 1st Frang

Overall it was a satisfying experience. The location is good, near everything (except the area of the full moon which is a positive thing). It was quite noisy but with a pair of ear plug it was ok. Note that there was no linen, fortunately we were traveling with our sleeping bags. Theres a nice area at the back of the hotel where you can cook your food, that was very appreciated. For 110baht you can also do some laundry. They rent scooters at the hotel which is the best way to discover the island. Also good to know the hotel furnishes the taxi to come and go to the pier. Its half the price that the other taxis charges. No bugs seen, room was pretty clean!

This hotel is ok, staffs very lovely, clean, near of Big C, u can even use their kitchen. There is no tv channe in english.

felt like home

I stayed 12 days at first&frang. The place is vert cosey and nice. The stuff is good and friendly and and desk is open 24 hours. They keep a kitchen if you want the cook your own meal (please clean dishes after:)), and they offer free coffee and tea at the inside hall stand. Felt like home and probably come back.

hotel novo e boa localização

O hotel é meio novo e o quarto tem uma distribuição interessante, com uma das camas no mezanino. Bom AC, wifi, frigobar, garrafas de água cortesia, banheiro de bom tamanho. O staff foi prestativo e nos ajudou a comprar o ticket para o ferry e a alugar a moto para explorar as praias da região. Gostamos da localização, da para chegar a pé do pier e tem opções de restaurantes baratos perto. A praia próxima do hotel tem um por do sol muito lindo. Pode-Se usar a cozinha e há um mercado bem grande perto. Gostamos bastante do hotel mas percebemos que alguém mexeu nas nossas malas, e uma outra hóspede alegou ter sido roubada. Deixamos as coisas de valor na recepção e não tivemos problema.

Nice hotel, close to resort beach

It's on a busy road and the road noise is terrible in the room. By a loud hostel also so hear partiers. My window didn't have a blackout curtain so I was woken up early by the sun. It's close to the resort beaches but not nice secluded beaches. Far from the full moon party beach, close to the pier. Wouldn't stay here again for the price you could find nicer. They do give free coffee and tea throughout the day

Good hotel!!

Very fresh and good looking hotel We really like the room and it is so worth the money. Fresh bathroom and warm water, good wif and air con. You will need to rent a scooter to get around because the hotel isn't very close to town. But with scooter it takes 5 min to get There. I would defenitely go back to that hotel

The rooms was nice and it was in the middle of thongsala neigbourhood and so it was close to the pier where you took the ferry as well as the hadd rinn area for the ful moon party. There were a lot of mosquitos in the room. that was my only issue otherwise it was a good place to stay

A very comfortable place to stay

The hotel itself is new so the rooms are in good condition and are clean too. The staff is very friendly. The inner court patio is very cosy with fish ponds and there is complimentary tea, coffee and water also. Beach is only 2 minutes walk away and there are also 2 big supermarkets very close.

Staffs are so kind and helpful. Use hotel taxi to get there becuz cheaper and safer!! There's bed in the loft so we 3 stayed together. Its nice. But you have to use taxi to pier and haadrin both.
