"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area."

"It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful"

"Staff were pleasant room was lovely we had the honeymoon suite. Breakfast was spot on.
Only thing that lets the hotel down is no bar so if you fancied a nightcap, you couldn’t get one. But would definitely recommend this hotel so the only downside is no Bar but can live with that."

"At first, we felt a bit hesitant since it was someone’s house and there weren’t any clear signs—we just walked onto the property. When we got to our room, it was lovely, though I was still slightly unsure because you could hear people in the main house, and I wasn’t certain about privacy or whether anyone could enter our room.
