"Curtains had blood stains on it asked it to be changed it took 3 days for them to come and just to clean the stains not change the whole thing. Paid resort fees and all a had was a bottle of water which i have to go beg for all the time. anytime they clean the room they only leave 2 bottles of water bathroom had stains and some part of the room. Some part of the ameneties you have to pay even thou its already charged. Hotel was far from the city so unless you driving better get a rental. "

"Great relaxing environment for couples and families alike. There’s enough space and resort to go around for everyone. Rooms have everything you need and the beach was one of the best I’ve experienced here on the island. Food from mahi mahi bar and grill was amazing."

"Lovely stay at Hacienda Villa Sotomayor. The view of the mountains was beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We had a problem with the shower in our room and when the staff realized it wasn't fixable in a timely basis, management quickly assigned us a new and larger casita. All the staff we met were so gracious and hospitable. The grounds are well kept, the pool is maintained well and the convenience to sites is great. "
