I stayed Four days. the Place is peaceful and beautiful. Clean rooms ! Good staff. However, in need of upgrades. (pool chairs , landscaping etc.) The breakfast was basic and repetitive all 4 days Same choice. scramble eggs and small roll . from 9:00 am till 10:30 am Mon- Fri wknd @8:00 - 10:30am. The place has potential Hopefully they work on the upgrades! recommended!

This is sweet comfortable mountain retreat. The property is tad dated but everything works and it is surrounded by the environment and farm animals. The pool is beautiful and refreshing and you go there to relax and disconnect whether in the front porch hammock or walking along the river or wooded areas. Hey there before dark. This is NOT the place to check in late as the staff leaves and dinner stops at 6;30p. But the cute town of Adjuntas is just a mile or two away has dining options

This trip to PR was a solo for me. It was a little scary at night. However, once in my little cabin, I was fine. I was not able to stay outside on the hammock at night because there was a gym that seems to be used by locals and there was a lot of traffic up and down to it. A few pick up trucks that came up by the cabins had me on edge. I think the outdoor lighting could be better. The property was quiet and peaceful during the day. I was able to walk around, there were horse stables and sheep, dogs and ducks (in fencing) along with a few roosters which roamed free. The animal noises did not bother me. Enjoying coffee outside in the mornings was wonderful with the sounds of all different birds. I only went down to the pool once but it was cloudy so I didn’t use it. The cabin had good air conditioning, a tv that had many programs to use, a coffee maker and small fridge. A microwave would’ve been great to reheat foods. But that was not in my room. My coffeemaker was dirty- so I only used the heating plate to heat water and made instant coffee. I didn’t get to go to the restaurant or do breakfast any days (not a morning person). The grounds are great for families. It was peaceful on my solo trip which is what I needed. The staff is very friendly and helpful, however, I didn’t know who we could contact when things weren’t working or when a loud truck would come by during the night (startled me at 1am). I don’t know if it was grounds security. Overall good stay.

The property has improved over the years and the room was clean but I only met one staff person after hunting the property for him in the dark to get a room key. The office closes early and opens late so we never see anyone. You can contact Milton by phone and he’s great but if you don’t know that you are stuck.

Everything looks nice, But if you want your room to be cleaned and receive clean towels? You must request that when you check in. For the breakfast, it’s ok but I am allergic to eggs, they did have waffles and pancakes and I did not like. The bar was ok but, the some of the girls @ the bar was not so attentive. The staff during the day or the dining room was very attentive. The rooms do not have dressers, so expect to juggle through your suitcase.
