"Honestly was a great experience in Madrid! Walkable to most places; the metro station was right in front as well. Very quiet and also have your own bathroom."

"The very limited number of staff do as good a job as possible. This probably keeps costs down, but it can make it hard to find service.
Consider this hotel for presentations and conferences if there's no need to be in town. The accommodation is good. There are usually taxis waiting opposite the door: 10-15 mins to the centre of Madrid. "

"Fantastic service and property. The staff at the front desk is super friendly and accommodating with any needs. The area is very safe and there are many dining options as well as supermarkets close. The Trafalgar square is super lively at night and a great place to hang out. The room itself was very clean with every amenity I can think of. Great views from the balcony too. Overall 10/10, one of the best places I've stayed in. Would definitely come back."

"Melia Castilla was an excellent hotel, friendly staff, spacious and quiet rooms, very comfortable and convenient for my week's stay in Madrid for business north of the hotel and some sightseeing to south"

"Todo el personal nos atendio con mucha amabilidad, especialmente Lucia en el “check in”. El cuarto muy cómodo y limpio. El desayuno es excelente. Nos encantó la estadía en este hotel. "
"It was perfect, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Beautiful, quiet, and great location.
I wish I had gotten his name, but one of the people working overnight in the lobby had noticed it was my birthday and had a box of chocolates left for me at checkout. I’m sure they normally give those out but it was a nice gesture that he recognized me and stopped to say happy birthday."
