"The manager, Sydney, refused service to me beause I was yelling on the phone. However, she was yelling at me while telling me to be respectful. Afterwards, Lulu told me that if I am direspect we will be disrespectful right back."

"The staff was incredible. We had an issue with the TV in our room and within minutes of calling the front desk a maintenance worker was at our door and the issue was resolved within minutes. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location was amazing. We could walk everywhere. This is just a few minutes walk to the harbor seal reserve and very close to Linden Street. I will definitely stay here again. The value for what you get is truly amazing."

"Several things weren’t up to par considering the ‘glowing’ reviews we read before booking. Firstly, the staff were quite odd and unfriendly. Our bathroom had mould on the ceiling and the cleaners didn’t even fill up our conditioner or body wash so we couldn’t even shower. The walls are paper thin and we had cleaners shouting at each other outside our room before 8am so I don’t think staff care about guest experience at all. The ‘breakfast’ was the biggest joke of all - some lack lustre pastries, about five yogurts up for grabs and some waffle mix which ran out before we could even have some (we were down at breakfast by 8am so not sure why it had already run out and when we notified the person at the front desk, he looked annoyed that we had mentioned it). The somewhat of a saving grace is that it’s in a good location and it was nice that the rooms had been somewhat updated but I wouldn’t rush back nor would I necessarily recommend it to anyone I know. "
